Event Brief :
The objective of this Shark Tank-style event is to encourage students to think innovatively and present novel ideas, research projects, or solutions within the pharmaceutical industry. Students will pitch their ideas to a panel of "Sharks" (judges), who will evaluate the feasibility, creativity, and technical aspects of the proposals.

Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For
Rx Shark Tank
- Judging Criteria :
- Innovation (30%): How unique and original is the idea?
- Feasibility (25%): Can the idea be implemented successfully with existing technology or resources?
- Technical Knowledge (20%): How well does the participant understand the technical details of their proposal?
- Market Potential (15%): Is there a real-world application for the idea? What is the potential impact?
- Presentation (10%): Clarity, professionalism, and the ability to convey the idea effectively.
- Entry Rules & Guidelines :
- Participant Pitches
- Time per Pitch: Each participant will have 2 minutes to present their idea.
- Participant can use the prop’s such as any ointments, tablets and capsules [pharmaceutical products]
- After each pitch, the judges will have 2 minutes for questions and answers.
- All the participants along with there team member must be present sharp at 10:00 am otherwise team will be disqualified.
- Teams or individual participants are allowed (in group maximum 4 students).
- If any discipline is broken during the event by the group member, then team will be disqualified.
- Project Criteria:
- The project or idea must be related to the field of pharmacy (e.g., drug development, pharmaceutical technology, healthcare solutions, patient care innovations, etc.).
- It can be a new product, a process innovation, a tech solution for pharmacies, or any creative approach related to the industry.
3. Presentation Guidelines:
- Participants must present their ideas within 2 minutes. Strict adherence to time is expected. A timer will be used.
- No hand written material for speech will be allowed.
- Visual aids (PowerPoint, videos, prototypes, etc.) are allowed but should be ready before the event starts. [Need to submit before the day of event.]
- The pitch should include:
- Problem identification (What issue are you solving?)
- Solution overview (How does your idea solve it?)
- Technical explanation (How does it work? What makes it innovative?)
- Feasibility and potential impact in the pharmaceutical industry.
Winners
Top Three Teams are selected based on marks as winner, runner up and second runner up.
