Event Brief :

The Sky Burst event, also known as the Bottle Rocket event, is an exciting and educational event where participants launch water-propelled rockets into the sky. Prioritizing safety above all else, the event emphasizes proper handling of equipment and adherence to strict safety protocols. Participants use a water pressure launch system to propel plastic bottles vertically into the air. The event takes place in an open area devoid of obstructions, ensuring a clear path for rocket launches.

Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For Sky Burst

- Judging Criteria :

Highest time of flight of rocket.

- Entry Rules & Guidelines :

1.In the event participants have to launch the pressurized water bottle asrocket.

2.Participant has to decide amount of water to be filled in water bottle withingiven range.

3.Participant has to use pressure pump to pressurize the water bottle withincertain limit.

4.Participant has to optimize between the amount of water and amount of airpressure to get the maximum height/maximum time of flight in the air.

5.Time form launching of rocket to landing of rocket will be considered aswinning parameter.

6.Two attempts will be allowed per participant.

7.Best of two attempts in terms of maximum time will be considered forwinning. 

8.In case of tie in maximum time, other attempt time will be considered aswinning parameter.

9.Three participants having maximum time of flight in the air will be consideredas winner.

10.Any damages to water bottle due to high pressure leads to disqualification ofparticipant.

11.If launched rocket will strike with any object, it will be considered aslanding and time of landing is considered.

12.As this event deals with high pressure water and high-pressure air,participants need to take care of themselves and others.

13.Water bottle, water and pressure pump will be provided by event organizers.

14.To improve the competition surprising elements can be added to the event.

15. Time for the flightnoted only by the volunteers will be considered.
