Event Brief :
Match or Mismatch is an interactive event designed to challenge teamwork, adaptability, and quick decision-making. Participants can join solo or with a partner, and once paired, they will compete together throughout the event. In the first round, participants compete against time, with only the fastest pairs advancing. In the second round, partners collaborate to overcome a unique challenge, showcasing their coordination and creativity. The final round is a high-stakes puzzle-solving quest, where the sharpest minds and quickest thinkers will unlock victory. With unexpected twists and intense competition, only one pair will outmatch the rest.

Match or Mismatch
1. General Guidelines
Participants may register either as individuals (to be assigned a partner) or as a pre-registered pair.
Once paired, participants must remain with the same partner throughout the event. Partner switching is strictly prohibited.
The event is designed to be engaging, unpredictable, and competitive; participants should be prepared for unexpected challenges.
All participants are expected to maintain respectful conduct towards fellow participants and event organizers. Any form of misconduct, inappropriate behavior, or violation of rules will result in immediate disqualification.
Late arrivals will not be permitted to join once the event has commenced.
2. Event Structure & Pairing Process
The event consists of multiple elimination-based rounds, with pairs being eliminated progressively based on their performance. Solo participants will be assigned a partner through a predetermined matching process. Challenges will vary in nature, testing teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. Performance scores will be recorded, and the pair with the highest score at the conclusion of all rounds will be declared the winners. Any attempt to manipulate event proceedings or influence results will result in immediate disqualification.
3. Code of Conduct & Fair Play
Cheating, dishonesty, or failure to comply with event rules will lead to immediate disqualification. Aggressive behavior, inappropriate language, or harassment towards participants or event staff will not be tolerated.
Eliminated participants must leave the designated game area and must not interfere with ongoing rounds.
All decisions made by event moderators and judges are final and cannot be contested.
Participants are required to follow all instructions provided by event organizers to ensure a fair and smooth experience.
4. Elimination Process & Winning Criteria Pairs will be eliminated progressively based on their performance in each round.
Elimination decisions will be based on:
# Task completion efficiency and accuracy
# Collaboration and adaptability as a pair
# Creativity and strategic problem-solving
# Compliance with event rules and instructions
The final round will determine the winning pair based on overall performance throughout the event.Any disruptive or non-compliant participant may be removed from the event without prior warning.
5. University Guidelines
All participants, organizers, and volunteers must strictly comply with Marwadi University’s rules and regulations throughout the event. The event will be conducted in alignment with the university’s values, ensuring a professional, respectful, and well-organized competition. Any violation of university policies will result in immediate action to maintain discipline and decorum.
