Event Name : Chem-O-Car

Event Brief :

Chem-o-Car is a fun event with an element of chemistry in it aiming at running a model car on chemical fuel. Participants will have to make their own model cars as per their design. There will be simple straight track for all participants, but length of track will be different for all rounds. At the time of the event, all distances are declared by co-ordinator with round specification. Teams will then be required to mix their reactants in such proportions so as to cover the chosen length. The winner will be the one whose car stops almost or closest at the end point.

Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For Chem-O-Car

- Judging Criteria :

The winner will be the one whose car stops almost or closest at the end point.

- Entry Rules & Guidelines :

• No harmful chemicals can be used.
• Participants have to bring sufficient amount of chemicals as per requirements.
  
• It must run with the chemicals only. No batteries are allowed as the power source.
  
• The car must be an autonomous vehicle and cannot be controlled remotely. Pushing to start the vehicle or using a mechanical starting device is not allowed.
  
• Points will be awarded on the basis of path covered by car in relation to the pre-defined length.
  
• Max 2 participants per team. Everyone should carry valid ID-cards or letter of their respective college or institution.
  
• All components of the car must fit into a box of dimensions no larger than 40 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm.
  
• In case of any dispute coordinator’s decision will be final
