Event Brief :

Lan Gaming is an event where students will showcase their E-Sports skills by Teaming up in group of 5 and co-ordinating the strategy to win by eliminatiing enemy players.

Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For Counter Strike 1.6

- Judging Criteria :

Fair Win by Eliminating Opponent Team.

Tournament game rules

A game consists of 9 rounds. A round lasts 3:00 minutes.

A coin toss is used to decide which team plays Counter-Terrorist and which team plays terrorist. The winner of the coin toss picks their role as CT or T. The other team chooses map.

Team members may not communicate (speak) when he or she is "dead" in the game. The only exception is when all team members are eliminated in the game.

*The Death cam is disabled by default.

The players have the right to modify only permitted console variables and game settings. The list of permitted

Tactical shield use is forbidden.

The accepted game server settings

In cases of disconnections and pc crashes:

 Disconnection is any network connection break occurring during the match and caused by system faults, network problems, PC errors or power failure etc.

In case of disconnection in first round while none of players were "killed" round is restart.

In case of an intentional disconnection, the offending team might be announced the loser.

General terms

The Half-Life Counter-Strike PC game championship 5x5 (team play, 5 members per team).

The Tournament Organizers reserves the right to cancel or modify the tournament rules.

If fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond reasonable control, impairs the integrity of the tournament then the team will be disqualified.

*Only Standard Keyboard and Mouse are provided. Players are allowed to bring their own   Keyboard and Mouse.
