Event Brief :

Poetry Writing competition for student is just the right way for student to develop their abilities in creative writing and critical thinking. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their talent and aspiring poets inside them.

Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For Poetry Writing

- Judging Criteria :

1. Language/Imagery
2. Emotional/Intellectual Response
3. Voice
4. Theme
5. Originality 

- Entry Rules & Guidelines :

Rules: 

1. The competition is open to anyone.
2. The judges will read all the entries; their decision will be final. 
3. All poems must have a title and must not exceed 30 lines in length (excluding title). 
4. Broad areas/themes will be given on which poems should be written.
5. Poems can be in English, Hindi or Gujarati.
6. Poems must be the entrant's original work. Plagiarized work is prohibited.
7. Participants will get 45 minutes to write the poem on the spot.
