The term "darts" usually now refers to a standardized game involving a specific board design and set of rules (a) Darts or dart-throwing is a competitive sport in which two or more players bare-handedly throw small sharp-pointed projectiles known as darts at a round target known as a dartboard (b) Points can be scored by hitting specific marked areas of the board, the term "darts" usually now refers to a standardized game involving a specific board design and set of rules. (c) The 20 segments on the dart board will be divided in 3 areas (d) 7 Major point scoring areas (1) Outer ring - 4 points, (2) Outer Area - 2 points (3) Inner Ring - 10 points (4) Inner Area - 5 points (5) Green Area - 20 points (6) Red Area - 50 points (7) Out of board - negative 10 points Two Player Compete • 1 player will play 3 rounds each • Each round – 3 dart shorts • Total points = 9 dart shorts * point scored during each dart short • Maximum point scorer of the two player goes to the next round • Prize for top 3 players Participation Fee - 100/- Rs

Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For Darts Championship

- Judging Criteria :

Standard height from the floor to the bullseye on the dartboard is 5 feet 8 inches, while the oche (distance between the front of the board and the toe-line) should measure 7 feet 9.25inches.

The Criteria are as follows

1) Discipline of the thrower

2) Foot behind the toe line

3) Appropriate use of darts

4) Time for each game 

5) Misconduct

6) Aggressive, abusive or disruptive behavior;

7) Players must not recklessly throw their darts at any time

- Entry Rules & Guidelines :

1. Only Throw Darts are Needed to Win


2. Stay Clear of Throwing Player


3. Do Not Distract as the Scorekeeper


4. Decide Player Shooting Order


5. Decide Who Shoots First.


6. Keep it Civil


7. Do Not Touch Darts Until After Your Turn


8. Record Your Score Before Removing Darts


9. Stand on the Throwing Line


10. Fallen Darts Are Out of Play


11. Three Darts Per Turn


12. Remove Your Own Darts


13. Three Darts Per Turn.


14. Players may not, before or during a Darts Event, make an agreement to produce a particular score or situation within a Match or to share prize money between those players irrespective of the result


15. No person bound by the DRA Rules will abuse, ignore or refuse reasonable requests from a broadcaster, the Promoter or the media at any Darts Event.


Decisions on all matters pertaining to the General Playing Rules during any Darts Event shall be made by the Promoter whose decision shall be final and binding
