Criteria for judging the performance of students :
Memory :
a) Poem suitable for his / her level
b) Recalls the text flawlessly without hesitation
Intonation and
Modulation :
a) Uses appropriate intonation and stress
b) Changes the tone and the pitch of the voice to indicate
the meaning
Clarity :
a) Is clear in speech
b) Recites with appropriate pronunciation
Expression and
Understanding :
a) Understands and conveys the meaning appropriately
b) Uses appropriate posture, gestures and facial expression
Overall Impression :
a) Displays Confidence
b) Stage Presence

participants can not recite a poem written by them.
participants must submit the poem along with the writers of the name at the time of registration.
Every participant will be given maximum of 3 minuets to recite, so they must choose the poem accordingly.
