Event Brief :

The Fireless Cooking Challenge is a fun and creative event where participants prepare delicious dishes without using fire, gas, or electric stoves. Using fresh and ready to-eat ingredients, participants showcase their culinary skills while focusing on hygiene, presentation, and sustainability. It’s a great way to explore healthy eating and innovation in cooking.

Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For Food without fire

- Judging Criteria :

Taste, Creativity, Presentation, and Originality and cleanliness

- Entry Rules & Guidelines :

Team Formation: Each team must have maximum 4 members.

Rules and Regulations:

1. Eligibility

Open to all students.

2. Theme

Salads should focus on health and nutrition, showcasing fresh ingredients and creative presentations.

3. Ingredients 

Participants must bring their own ingredients. All ingredients should be fresh, safe for consumption, and preferably organic.

Use of pre-packaged dressings is not allowed, but participants are encouraged to create their own dressings.

4. Equipment

Participants should bring their own utensils and tools (knives, cutting boards, bowls, etc.) No electric gadgets or appliances (blenders, food processors, ) are allowed. No fire based cooked food is allowed. 

This theme emphasizes fresh, raw ingredients and creativity without the use of cooking or pre-prepared foods, encouraging participants to show case their culinary skills in a fun and healthy way.  

5. Size and Presentation

Each food should be prepared to serve at least2-4 people. Participants should focus on creative presentation and overall appeal.

6. Time Limit

Participants will have a maximum of 1 hour to prepare and present their salads.

7. Judging Criteria

Taste, Creativity, Presentation, and Originality and cleanliness

8. Judging Panel

A panel of judges, including faculty members and nutrition experts, will evaluate the salads.

10. Cleanup

Participants are responsible for cleaning their preparation area after the competition. All waste should be disposed of responsibly.

11. Registration

Pre-registration is required. If any of the above points are not obeyed the team will be disqualified. Late coming team will be disqualified. No extra time will be given to the teams. 

You can prepare you unique way for presenting the prepared dish along with the short message and team name.
