Event Brief :
Web Craft Fiesta is an exhilarating web designing event tailored for tech-savvy and creative minds of our college. Here, participants have to showcase their web development skills, design aesthetics and coding fines. Participants will have to build a website for a random topic that wil be decided by a draw.

Web Craft Fiesta
- Judging Criteria :
Evaluations will be done based on:
- Adhere to topic
- Functionality
- Visual Appeal
- Responsiveness
- Technical proficiency (Line of code, execution of code)
- Incorporation of Trends
- Page speed insight by Google
- Entry Rules & Guidelines :
- A team must comprise a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 participants.
- Participants have to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in their code.
- Participants can utilize any online templates or any libraries or toolkits.
- Topics will be distributed on the first day of the event based on the draw activity.
- Participants have to report to the location 15-20 minutes before the event starts.
- If any team wants to change the topic after allocation, they can again go for the draw activity with a deduction of 5 points.
- The submission deadline must be followed.
- Intermediate evaluation will be on the first day after 3:00 p.m., and final evaluation will be on the second day of the event after 2:00 p.m.
- Winners will be decided based on their creativity and development skills (consist of clean and optimized code but are not limited to them).
- Ensure that the website is responsive for any screen size.
- Participants should deploy their code on GitHub pages.(with live URL)
- There must be some progress on the first day, as the intermediate evaluation will be based on the progress a team has made.
- Any attempt to disrupt the event, sabotaging other team members, manipulating results, or unfairly influencing judges will result in disqualification.
- In cases of disputes or rule clarifications, the decision of the event organizers will be taken.
- To safeguard data, individuals should keep a personal copy of their work in case of any unwanted incidence. (Using platforms like Google Drive or GitHub for storing backups is advised)
- If participants want to participate in other events at the same time, one member of the team must be present at this (our) event.
- If working in a team, all the members have to contribute to the given topic, as judges will clarify and give points on the basis of their contribution.
- A college ID card is required.
- Team/Member must be present when judges come for the evaluation as judges will look into the development process you have done throughout the event.
- Judges’ decisions are final and binding.
