Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For
In Contempt of Comedy
- Judging Criteria :
Judges will evaluate entries basedon:
- Creativity and Humor (40%): How original and funny is the spoof? Does it incorporate legal elements cleverly?
- Adherence to Theme (40%): How well does the spoof blend legal elements with the chosen media genre?
- Audience Engagement (20%): How well does the content connect with the audience (laughs, reactions)?
- Entry Rules & Guidelines :
Eligibility:
- Open to all university students.
- Teams can have maximum 5 members
- Participants must be registered for the university fest.
Theme and Content:
- Legal Parody: All spoofs must incorporate legal terms, themes, or structures in a comedic way. Think courtroom scenes, legal jargon, or courtroom drama tropes.
- Respectful Content: Parodies should be family-friendly and avoid offensive or controversial content.
- No Copyright Infringement: Avoid using any actual copyrighted content, and create original parodies or make fair use of media by transforming them into something unique.
Format:
- Duration: Each parody must not be longer than 5 minutes.
- Genres: You can spoof any genre (action, horror, drama, etc.), but the legal theme should be evident.
