Event Name : Mechanical Escape Room

Event Brief :

The Mechanical Escape Room is an interactive and engaging event designed to test students' problem-solving, teamwork, and mechanical assembly skills. A clue will be given to participants to identify a key component, locate its subcomponents from different stations, and successfully assemble the full mechanism before time runs out.

Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For Mechanical Escape Room

- Judging Criteria :

Correct Assembly – Proper identification and accurate assembly of the mechanical system.

Time Taken – The team that completes the task in the shortest time receives a higher score.

- Entry Rules & Guidelines :

The maximum number of students in one group is 4. The group will be provided with a clue, and based on the clue you need to identify the component from four different tables.  10 points for identifying the correct component from the clue. On identifying the correct components from each table, you will get 10 points from each table. You will not be allowed to revisit the table You need to assemble all the components collected from the table.  For correct assembly, you will get 50 points. Each group will have 30 minutes to identify and assemble the components. Winners will be decided on the least time to complete the process and points acquired for the task.  In the case of Tie one more round will be there.
