Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For
CodeQuest: Troubleshooting Tigers
- Judging Criteria :
Roundwise Event Flow:
Round 1: Code Troubleshooting
In the first round, teams will be presented with code snippets as per their preferred programming languages, including C, C , Python, Java. These code snippets will intentionally contain errors. Participants' task will be to identify and rectify these errors within a constrained time frame. The emphasis will be on efficient troubleshooting, requiring both accuracy and speed. Teams must strive to make the minimum changes possible to the original code provided. Only the top-performing teams, based on their performance in this round, will progress to the next round.
Round 2: Coding Contest
The second round will be a coding contest where participants will face case-study based questions. Each question will require participants to solve a specific problem using their preferred programming language (C, C , Python, or Java). Participants must solve each question independently, showcasing their problem-solving abilities and coding skills. The objective is to provide optimal solutions within the given time frame.
Judgement will be based on:
Round 1: Code Troubleshooting
Accuracy: Correct identification and rectification of errors in the code snippets
Efficiency: Minimization of changes made to the original code
Speed: Completion of tasks within the allocated time frame.
Round 2: Coding Contest:
Correctness: Correctness of the solution
Accuracy: Correct identification and rectification of errors in the code snippets
Efficiency: Minimization of changes made to the original code
Speed: Completion of tasks within the allocated time frame.
