Chef's Corner
Event Brief :
Providing a platform to students to show cooking skill at university level. Students can participate in solo or in a group (group should have maximum of 3 students). There are 2 categories: solo and group(group of maximum 3 students.) Name of Dishes need to be submitted priorly. All ingredients need to be brought in sufficient quantity by the participants. No induction or fire can be used for cooking. Only table and chair would be provided to the participants.

- Entry Rules & Guidelines :
EVENT RULES & REGULATIONS
1. Categories
- The event will be conducted in two categories:
- Solo – Individual participation
- Group – Maximum 3 students per group
- A participant is allowed to participate in only one category.
2. Registration & Dish Submission
- Participants must register within the stipulated deadline.
- The name of the dish (and category) must be submitted in advance at the time of
registration.
- Change of dish name after submission will not be permitted.
3. Ingredients & Preparation
- All participants must bring their own ingredients in sufficient quantity.
- Ingredients must be fresh, hygienic, and pre-checked before the event.
- No ingredients will be provided by the organizers.
- Participants are allowed to bring pre-prepared items (e.g., chopped vegetables, boiled ingredients).
4. Cooking Restrictions
- Use of fire, gas stove, induction, or any electrical cooking appliance is strictly prohibited.
Cooking must be done without flame or heat, using techniques such as:
- No-cooked dishes
- Assembly-based dishes
- Cold preparations
5. Infrastructure Provided
- The organizers will provide only one table and chairs per participant/group.
- Participants must bring their own utensils, serving plates, cutlery, bowls, napkins, and waste bags.
6. Time Management
- Participants must report to the venue at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- A fixed preparation and presentation time will be allotted.
- Exceeding the time limit may lead to penalty or disqualification.
7. Hygiene & Safety
- Participants must maintain proper hygiene throughout the event.
- Aprons, gloves, hair caps (if required) are encouraged.
8. Judging Criteria:

9. Discipline & Conduct
- Participants must follow instructions given by coordinators and volunteers.
- Any form of misconduct, argument, or indiscipline will lead to disqualification.
- Damage to college property will be the responsibility of the participant(s).
10. General Rules
- Use of mobile phones during preparation may be restricted.
- Participants must clean their workstation before leaving.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to modify rules if required.
- Participation implies acceptance of all rules and regulations.
