Event Brief :
BRAINSTORM: THE CODE COMBAT is a paper-based, high-intensity programming challenge designed to test participants’ logical reasoning, coding fundamentals, and problem-solving skills in C++ and Python. Participants navigate through stages of increasing difficulty, from basic logic puzzles to complex multi-step programming traps, all without the aid of an IDE or electronic devices. The event includes:
• Level 1: Zero-IDE Challenge – 20 missions across C++ and Python to test logical thinking and debugging skills.
• Tie-Breaker: Sudden Death Round – 5 ultra-hard questions for top scorers.
• Level 2: Code Crucible: The Elite Arena – 20 extremely challenging C++ and Python puzzles to determine the champion.
Participants compete individually to solve problems quickly and accurately, earning points per mission, with bonus points for clearing entire stages.

Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For
BRAINSTORM: THE CODE COMBAT
- Judging Criteria :
1. Eligibility: Open to all participants registered for the technical fest.
2. Format: Paper-based. No laptops, calculators, or electronic devices are allowed.
3. Rounds:
o Level 1 – Zero-IDE Challenge: 20 missions, 30 minutes.
o Tie-Breaker (Sudden Death): 5 missions, 10 minutes, only for top scorers.
o Level 2 – Code Crucible: 20 ultra-hard missions, 15 minutes.
4. Scoring:
o Each mission carries points as specified.
o Bonus points awarded for fully clearing a stage.
o Partial answers may receive no points.
5. Answer Submission: Only final answers/output/choices are to be written. Explanations are not required unless specified.
6. Time Management: Strict adherence to the allotted time for each round. Late submissions may be penalized.
7. Conduct: Any use of devices or unfair means will lead to disqualification.
8. Tie-Breakers: Top scorers in Level 1 will compete in the Sudden Death Round. If a tie persists in Level 2, evaluation will consider accuracy and logical clarity.
9. Evaluation: Answers will be evaluated for correctness, speed, and adherence to instructions.
10. Decision: The judges’ decision is final in all cases.
