Event Brief :

The Mechanical Escape Room is organized to provide students with a platform to apply their mechanical knowledge in a fun, engaging, and collaborative environment. The activity aims to develop problem-solving skills, teamwork, and quick decision-making under time-bound conditions. Participants have to decode clues and assemble components of a given mechanism within a limited time frame of 30 minutes. The event aims to foster problem-solving skills, collaboration, and engineering aptitude among the participants.

Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For Mechanical Escape

- Judging Criteria :

10 points for identifying the assembly from the clue.On identifying the correct components from each table, you will get 10 points from each table. For correct assembly, you will get 50 points.  Winners will be decided on the least time to complete the process and points acquired for thetask.In the case of Tie one more round will be there.

- Entry Rules & Guidelines :

Maximum 4 members in one team. Must have knowledge of handling of mechanical tools and safety precautions. The group will be provided with a clue, and based on the clue you need to identify the assembly and find the components from four different tables. You will not be allowed to revisit the table. You need to assemble all the components collected from the table. Each group will have 30 minutes to identify and assemble the components.
