Circuit Quest
Event Brief :
Experience a comprehensive three-tier electrical and electronics competition designed to evaluate technical proficiency, strategic decision-making, and practical engineering skills. The journey begins with a time-sensitive component identification challenge, followed by a high-stakes "Deal or No Deal" arena where their theoretical knowledge is traded for strategic advantages. The competition concludes with a hands-on hardware assembly round, where participants must demonstrate precision and functionality to achieve the winning output.

Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For
Circuit Quest
- Judging Criteria :
Round 1: Participants will be judged based on accuracy of identification of components and time taken for completing the round.
Round 2: Teams will be ranked based on their total score accumulated throughout the round.
Round 3: Evaluation of teams in this round will be based on the accuracy of the circuit's output and the time taken to achieve it.
- Entry Rules & Guidelines :
Round 1: Participants will be provided with a component list and a bulk tray of parts. They must identify and collect the correct components (checking values via color codes or markings) within stipulated time, Incorrect components or values will result in negative marking.
Round 2: Teams will select briefcases containing technical problems. Correct answers 'open' the case and add points to their bank. After every 5 cases, the Banker will offer a deal (e.g., points or 2 bonus minutes for the hardware round). Team must decide: Deal or No Deal?
Round 3: Teams must assemble the circuiton a breadboard using the components provided. Use of external tools (like multimeters)is allowed. The final circuit must demonstrate desired output to be eligible for full points. Also time taken to complete the demonstration of result will be considered.
Winners
The winners will be announced following the completion of Round 3. The declaration will be based on time taken and accuracy of result demonstration in final round.
There will be teams as : 1. Winner 2. Runners Up1 3. Runners Up2
