Code Jumanji

Event Id : 441

Event Name : Code Jumanji

Event Brief :

"Code Jumanji is an adventurous, high-energy technical duo event inspired by the concept of a digital survival game, where participants are “trapped inside a code world” and must clear levels to escape. The event blends coding, logic, puzzles, and communication challenges with a fun, game-based narrative. Unlike conventional coding contests, Code Jumanji focuses on team synergy, adaptability, and problem-solving under unpredictable constraints, all wrapped in a Jumanji-inspired experience.Top Performers will get exciting goodies from 10X Club, Coding Ninjas. Number of Students: 02 (in a team) Round 1: The Code Jungle – Survival Quiz (Entering the Game World) In this introductory round, teams enter the Code Jungle, where survival depends on quick thinking and technical awareness. Participants face a fast-paced quiz comprising coding trivia, logical riddles, debugging snippets, and fun tech-based challenges presented as “Jumanji traps.” Each correct answer helps the team move forward in the jungle. Incorrect responses may result in time penalties or skipped turns. The round sets the tone with fun, suspense, and competitive energy while filtering serious contenders. Round 2: The Puzzle Temple – Co-op Code Quest (Unlock the Path Forward) Teams that survive the jungle enter the Puzzle Temple, where cooperation is the only way out. This round features a coding-based puzzle grid inspired by crossword and escape-room mechanics. Challenges include filling missing code logic, identifying outputs, correcting faulty algorithms, and solving concept-based mini problems. Each clue unlocks the next section of the temple. Teams must strategize, divide tasks, and cross-verify solutions to escape efficiently. Round 3: The Blind Duo Code Arena – Final Boss Battle (Escape or Stay Trapped Forever) The final round is the ultimate Jumanji-style challenge where chaos meets coding. This round transforms a standard programming task into a high-pressure survival scenario. Player A – The Seer: Can view the problem statement and screen but cannot touch the keyboard. Player B – The Warrior: Can type code but cannot see the screen. Teams must defeat the “Final Boss” by solving a coding problem using only verbal communication, testing trust, clarity, and precision under pressure."
