GENERAL EVENT RULES (Applicable to All Rounds)

  • Team size: 3โ€“4 members
  • All responses must be in English
  • Grammatical correctness matters more than accent
  • Team discussion is allowed only when specified
  • Time limits are strict
  • Judgesโ€™ decisions are final and binding
  • Any offensive or inappropriate content leads to immediate disqualification

  • Teams participate one by one
  • Members speak one word each, in relay order
  • Together, they build a story

๐Ÿ”น Rules

  • Each member gets 3 seconds to say their word
  • Words must be grammatically correct and meaningful in context
  • No repetition of previously used words
  • No coaching or prompting during the relay
  • The story must flow logically

๐Ÿ”น Penalties

  • Hesitation beyond the time limit
  • Grammatically incorrect word
  • Repeated word

(Each violation may attract a point deduction orelimination as decided by judges)

 

๐ŸŸ  ROUND 2: EMOJI RELAY(RAPID FIRE)

๐Ÿ”น Format

  • Each team member is shown 3โ€“4 emojis simultaneously
  • Members respond one by one, each handling their own emoji set
  • Each member frames one grammatically correct sentence

๐Ÿ”น Rules

  • 5 seconds thinking time, then immediate response
  • Sentence must clearly relate to the emojis shown
  • Only one sentence per member
  • No help from teammates
  • Emojis must be interpreted logically

  • One word asked per team member
  • Difficulty increases progressively

  • No writing, gestures, or hints allowed
  • One repetition of the word is allowed
  • No correction after spelling starts

๐Ÿ”น Elimination

  • Incorrect spelling leads to loss of turn
  • Teams with maximum correct spellings advance

 

๐ŸŸฃ ROUND 4: JUMBLED WORDS

๐Ÿ”น Format

  • Teams receive jumbled words on screen or paper
  • Must rearrange them to form a grammatically correct sentence

๐Ÿ”น Rules

  • Team discussion allowed
  • Sentence must make logical sense
  • Punctuation and word order matter
  • Only one final answer per question

๐Ÿ”น Time Limit

  • 30 seconds per question

 

๐Ÿ”ด ROUND 5: ONE PICTURE โ€“THREE SENTENCES

๐Ÿ”น Format

  • A single picture is shown to all teams
  • Teams must frame:
    • 1 sentence in Past tense
    • 1 sentence in the present tense
    • 1 sentence in Future tense

๐Ÿ”น Rules

  • Each sentence must clearly relate to the picture
  • Tense usage must be accurate
  • Different team members must speak each sentence (if 3 members)

โšก ROUND 6: YES / NO GRAMMAR DASH

๐Ÿ”น Format

  • Host reads out sentences rapidly
  • Teams respond by showing YES (correct) or NO (incorrect)

  • Response must be within 3 seconds
  • No discussion allowed
  • Late responses are treated as incorrect

(FINAL ROUND)

Each team receives:

  • 1 opening line
  • 3 random words
  • 1 emotion

Teams must create and present a 2-minute story.

  • All given elements must be used
  • The story must reflect the given emotion
  • Team discussion allowed during prep time
  • One or multiple speakers allowed
  • Story must be grammatically correct and coherent
