Blind Code
Event Brief :
Blind Code is a thrilling technical event where participants must write correct code without
seeing the screen. The screen will be switched off or hidden, and only logical thinking,
syntax knowledge, and confidence will guide you.

Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For
Blind Code
- Judging Criteria :
Judging Criteria
Participants will be evaluated based on the following parameters. The total score for each round will be calculated accordingly.
1. Logic Correctness & Output Accuracy (40%)
-
Correct implementation of the given problem logic
-
Output matches the expected results for all test cases
-
Proper handling of edge cases
-
Efficient and meaningful use of conditions, loops, and functions
Highest weightage is given to logical correctness.
2. Syntax Accuracy & Error Count (25%)
-
Number of compilation errors
-
Number of runtime errors
-
Proper use of syntax without relying on auto-complete
-
Clean and structured code writing
Scoring Guidelines:
3. Blind Coding Discipline (15%)
-
No attempt to view the screen during coding
-
No use of restricted devices or tools
-
Adherence to blind coding rules throughout the round
-
Maintaining focus and confidence while coding
Any violation may result in score reduction or disqualification.
4. Time Management (10%)
-
Completion of code within the allotted time
-
Faster completion with correct logic receives higher marks
-
Late submissions may attract penalties
5. Code Structure & Readability (10%)
-
Proper indentation and formatting
-
Meaningful variable and function names
-
Logical flow of code
-
Use of comments where appropriate
