Event Brief :

The Codon Bingo 3.0 event at MU Fest offers an opportunity for participants to engage in a bioinformatics challenge focused on genetic code analysis. This event is designed to test problem-solving skills and understanding of bioinformatics concepts through a series of structured tasks. Participants will work on decoding genetic sequences and solving computational biology challenges. The event aims to foster analytical thinking and provide a competitive yet educational environment for students interested in bioinformatics. Cash prizes will be awarded to top three performers.

Rules / Guidelines / Judging Criteria For Codon Bingo

- Judging Criteria :

1) Computational Approach – Effective application of bioinformatics tools, algorithms, or logical workflows.
2) Time Efficiency – Completion of tasks within the stipulated time limits.
3) Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize decoding strategies.
4) Adherence to Guidelines – Compliance with the rules and constraints defined for each round.

- Entry Rules & Guidelines :

1) Participants must bring their own laptops for the competition.

2) The use of ChatGPT or any other AI platform is strictly prohibited.

3) Participants are free to use any programming language they are comfortable with.

4) The competition consists of three rounds.

5) The participant who solves the given problem first will be selected for the next round
