An extempore event tests a participant’s spontaneous speaking skills, presence of mind, clarity of thought, and confidence. Participants are given a topic on the spot and are required to speak on it within a limited time without prior preparation.

Participantswill be evaluated on:

i.                Content& relevance to topic

ii.               Clarityof thoughts

iii.             Confidence& body language

iv.             Fluency& communication skills

v.               Timemanagement

- Entry Rules & Guidelines :

Topic Selection

 

i.Topics will be given on the spot.

ii. Eachparticipant will pick one chit randomly.

iii. No changeof topic is permitted under any circumstances.

 

 Preparation Time

i.                1–2minutes will be provided for preparation.

ii.               Useof paper, mobile phones, internet, or any electronic gadgets during preparationis strictly prohibited.

 

Time Limit

i.                Speakingtime: 2-3 minutes per participant.

ii.               Awarning bell will be given 30 seconds before time completion.

iii.             Exceedingthe time limit may lead to negative marking or disqualification.
