Event Brief :
Design Mania is a competitive creative event where students showcase their design skills through real-world branding challenges. Participants will work on tasks such as logo design, social media posts, magazine covers, and posters.
The event is conducted in three rounds. In the first round, students receive design tasks. From there, 10 students advance to the second round, and finally 5 finalists compete in the last round to secure a place among the Top 3 winners.
Each round lasts approximately 1.5 hours, testing creativity, speed, and branding sense under time constraints.

- Entry Rules & Guidelines :
1. Eligibility
- The event is open to all registered students.
- Participants must register before the event starts.
- Participation is individual only. No team entries are permitted.
2. Event Structure
- The competition will be conducted in three rounds.
- Each round will have a duration of approximately 1.5 hours.
- Shortlisting will be done at the end of each round based on jury evaluation.
3. Design Tasks
- Participants will be given tasks related to logo design, social media posts, magazine covers, and posters.
- The task theme and requirements will be disclosed at the start of each round.
- Designs must strictly follow the given brief.
4. Shortlisting Criteria
- Round 1: All registered participants compete; 10 students will be selected.
- Round 2: Shortlisted students compete; 5 students will advance to the final round.
- Final Round: Top 3 winners will be selected.
5. Evaluation Criteria
- Designs will be judged on creativity, originality, visual appeal, concept clarity, branding sense, and time management.
- The judges decision will be final and binding.
6. Software & Resources
- Participants can use their design software.
- Use of pre-made templates, AI-generated designs, or copied content is strictly prohibited.
7. Originality
- All submissions must be original work created during the event time.
- Plagiarism or copyright infringement will lead to immediate disqualification.
8. Submission Guidelines
- Designs must be submitted within the given time limit.
- Late submissions will not be accepted.
- File formats and naming conventions will be shared during the event.
9. Discipline & Conduct
- Participants must maintain discipline and professionalism throughout the event.
- Any misconduct or violation of rules may result in disqualification.
10. Organizer’s Rights
- The organizing team reserves the right to modify rules, tasks, or schedules if necessary.
- Submitted designs may be used for event promotion.
